Well i really really REALLY wasn't happy with the first version so I figured I try and revamp it. I'm hoping this looks better. I think it more accurately conveys my original concept. Still messin' around with that cel-shade style...

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Keep an open mind...life's better that way...
But very clean art and it has that nice, vibrant, crisp, hi-res feeling to it. Also, a bit more dynamic than the original. Although I still like the original too.
The clothing style is a nice touch, enjoying the subtle details such as the straps, beads and hair. Even glad you gave a slight peak of the house in the lower left to give us a feeling of depth.
I give this an 8.5/10.
But I'm still waiting on those three pages for your first book!
